Heid Erdrich

Native American poet and curator Heid E. Erdrich is author of four poetry collections, most recently National Monuments from Michigan State University Press. She is the recipient of Minnesota State Arts Board fellowships, awards from The Loft Literary Center, the Archibald Bush Foundation and elsewhere. She has four times been nominated for the Minnesota Book Award, which she won in 2009. She curated the exhibit, Original Green for All My Relations Arts a contemporary American Indian fine arts organization. The exhibit showcased Native artist interpretations of the St. Anthony Falls area of the Mississippi River. Heid will read poetry inspired by the Mississippi River at the Kinship of Rivers festival
